Numerous variations of ringed Chalcedony, a nutrient belonging to the Quartz family, are called agate. Tree agate, also known as dendritic agate, is not a genuine agate according to the scientific definition because it lacks bands but is a member of the agate family. Its name is derived from a Greek word that means "tree-like." These agates are typically colourless, white, or grey and have inclusions of iron or manganese, known as dendrites that resemble trees or ferns. Green Tree Rocks are usually with white dendrites and are less frequent.

The Stone of Plenitude is the nickname for dendritic agate, bringing fullness and abundance to every aspect of life, including business and agricultural endeavours. Melody, age 86, was interred in the fields at the time of planting to ensure a good harvest and was connected to the ancient Greek dryads, wooded as well as tree spirits.
